Who this is for

Treasury officers, fund administrators, and family-office controllers who keep assets in offline wallets and must file a custody report that will withstand internal review or external audit.

Result

You receive a reconciliation memorandum, a variance schedule (even if empty), an open-item list, and a signed cover note stating the procedures performed and the cut-off applied.

Scope included

  • Intake of your custody report, wallet register, and signing or sealing logs
  • Line-by-line matching of reported balances to wallet identifiers you provide
  • Classification of variances (timing, dual listing, omitted wallet, transcription)
  • Written queries where evidence is incomplete
  • Final pack formatted for controller sign-off

Excluded

  • Holding or moving assets on your behalf
  • Redesigning vault architecture or multi-sig policies
  • Legal opinions on regulatory classification
  • Continuous monitoring between closes

Provider and process

Work is led by the Hong Kong desk at Laws Commercial Plaza. After a briefing call, we agree cut-off, evidence list, and delivery date. You send materials through the channel you prefer; we return drafts for factual check, then the final pack.

Preparation

Please have ready: current custody report, wallet inventory with labels used internally, last signed reconciliation (if any), and a named contact for variance queries.

Constraints

We work from evidence you supply. We cannot attest to balances we have not observed or that you have not authorised us to verify. On-site observation is booked separately when required.
